China's Largest Airshow Scheduled to Proceed as Planned in November
Held in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China from November 10 to 15
Over 400 companies including Boeing participate... Uncertain if COVID-19 resurges
[Asia Economy Beijing=Special Correspondent Jo Young-shin] The '2020 China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (Zhuhai Airshow)' is reported to be held as scheduled, according to China's state-run Global Times on the 10th.
Contrary to overseas media reports that the event would be postponed due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the Global Times reported that the Zhuhai Airshow will proceed as planned.
The Zhuhai Airshow, China's largest airshow held once every two years, will take place from November 10 to 15 in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China.
The Global Times stated that more than 400 companies worldwide, including Boeing and Airbus, will participate in the Zhuhai Airshow.
However, since the COVID-19 pandemic has not yet ended and there is a seasonal risk of additional outbreaks, it remains to be seen whether the airshow will actually be held in November, the Global Times added.
