On the 9th, I-LAND's agency WKS ENE announced through an official press release, "We inform you that Shin Min-a's claim that the agency filed an additional lawsuit causing her distress is completely untrue."
The agency stated, "At the time of filing the lawsuit on July 30, after legal review, it was determined that the case involved defamation by spreading false information, obstruction of business, and theft, and proceeded accordingly. Please understand that we cannot disclose detailed information about the ongoing investigation."
They added, "The agency and other members have been investigated as complainants, and we hope more than anyone else that the investigation will be concluded promptly and the truth will be revealed."
Earlier on the same day, Shin Min-a said, "I heard that the agency filed additional lawsuits for obstruction of business and theft of fan letters. It is very difficult and distressing. I have never lied even once." She revealed that due to stress, her weight dropped from the original 40-42kg to 38kg.
Later, Shin Min-a hinted at an extreme choice through SNS on the same day. She posted, "The thought that just comes to mind now is that I just want to disappear," and around 12:17 PM, she attempted an extreme act on the railing of Seongsan Bridge over the Han River but was rescued by police who responded to a report.
After being rescued, Shin Min-a posted on SNS, "I won't do that again. Sorry for causing worry. I really won't have bad thoughts again," and added, "Thank you for your support. Thank you very much to those who rescued me today. Thank you to the fans who reported it." The post was later deleted.
Afterward, Shin Min-a shared screenshots of articles related to her rescue and said, "Please stop leaving malicious comments. It's hard."
