Despite the implementation of social distancing measures equivalent to level 3, the number of COVID-19 cases has not decreased significantly.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City, as of 2 PM on the day, 10 people tested positive for COVID-19 in tests conducted by private entrusted institutions and were classified as Gwangju cases 443 to 452.
Case 443, residing in Wolsan-dong, Nam-gu, is related to Seongnim Baptist Church and tested positive in a pre-release quarantine test.
Case 444, from Ok-dong, Gwangsan-gu, was in contact with Cheonan case 171 and tested positive in a pre-release quarantine test.
Case 445, residing in Wolgok-dong, Gwangsan-gu, is currently under investigation for the infection route.
Cases 446 and 449, residing in Ochi and Duam-dong, Buk-gu, were contacts of case 426 and are related to Seokjeong Sauna.
Cases 447, 448, and 452, residing in Punghyang, Junghung, and Duam-dong, are contacts of Gwangju case 420, who is linked to a market restaurant.
