[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Shinhan Bank announced on the 8th that it has released a video on the 'Self-Employed Support System' for self-employed individuals struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) on its official YouTube channel.
Shinhan Bank produced this video in collaboration with the Financial Supervisory Service's Inclusive Finance Office to alleviate the management difficulties of self-employed customers caused by COVID-19, amid restrictions on indoor group training due to social distancing measures.
The 'Self-Employed Support System' video features Shinhan Bank and Financial Supervisory Service employees visiting a restaurant located in Gongdeok-dong, Mapo-gu, listening to the owners' financial difficulties, and explaining key financial information including ▲financial support systems for the self-employed ▲debt repayment burden relief systems ▲banking sector management consulting services ▲and 200 financial tips.
Starting with this video, Shinhan Bank plans to produce video content once a month to strengthen the capabilities of the self-employed and present it through YouTube.
A Shinhan Bank official said, "We will do our best not only to provide financial support that can help overcome the crisis for self-employed customers experiencing management difficulties due to COVID-19 but also to offer non-financial support such as educational content."
