Gwangju Seo-gu Discovers 'Seo-gu Type New Deal' Projects... Full Effort for Proactive Response
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Daeseok) has identified 67 'Seo-gu-type New Deal projects' in line with the Korean New Deal policy to overcome the COVID-19 crisis and establish a global leading economic foundation, and has taken proactive measures.
According to Seo-gu on the 8th, the district held the 'Seo-gu-type New Deal and New Policy Reporting Meeting' the day before to discuss post-COVID-19 response tasks.
The projects to be promoted include 9 projects in the digital New Deal sector such as ▲AI care robot service support for elderly dementia patients ▲pilot project for elderly health management service using AI-IOT; 10 projects in the green New Deal sector such as ▲Safe Green Park creation project ▲Building Energy Management System (BEMS) establishment ▲renewable energy convergence support project; 12 projects in the safety net reinforcement sector such as ▲support for job creation for IT personnel in the 4th Industrial Revolution ▲support for small business online business; and 36 projects in the non-face-to-face administrative service sector such as ▲AI personalized care service project ▲24-hour Safe Call Center operation ▲simple civil complaint reception via mobile messenger.
Through this meeting, Seo-gu plans to accelerate the promotion of Seo-gu-type New Deal projects by securing funds such as the 2021 main budget, national and city subsidies, and public contest projects, sharing projects with all employees, and continuously discovering response projects.
