Woowa Brothers Steps Up as Mentors for University Students and Youth
Participation in Root Impact's 'Impact Project 2nd Cohort', a Social Venture Support Organization
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Woowa Brothers, the operator of 'Baedal Minjok,' is participating as a mentor company in a project for university students and youth to discover and solve social issues. Woowa Brothers (CEO Kim Beom-jun) announced on the 6th that they have partnered with social venture support organization Root Impact (CEO Heo Jae-hyung) to launch the 'Impact Project 2nd term.'
The 'Impact Project' is a program that allows young people to experience the social value of companies solving social problems in various fields such as local communities, communities, and the environment through business. Root Impact launched this program earlier this year and decided to organize the 2nd term program together with Woowa Brothers. Woowa Brothers joined as a mentor company to contribute to customer satisfaction, corporate growth, social problem solving, and social value creation.
A total of 22 university students were selected for this program. During the training period, they will develop problem-solving skills by discovering and analyzing real social issues and proposing solutions that companies can implement. The Woowa Brothers team responsible for social contribution and other tasks will serve as mentors for the participants' project progress.

The 'Impact Project 2nd term' with Woowa Brothers will run for about four months until December 19. Woowa Brothers plans to actively reflect the various solutions derived by the participants in this Impact Project 2nd term into the Baemin service in the future. Ko Myung-seok, head of the Baemin Service Office at Woowa Brothers, said, "It will be an opportunity to help university students with new perspectives define various social problems and to think together about solutions through the Baedal Minjok service," adding, "We plan to actively work to ensure that Woowa Brothers' services and platform contribute to solving social problems."
