Songpa-gu and JobKorea Operate 'Munjeong Biz Valley Online Job Fair'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Songpa-gu (Mayor Park Seong-su) will operate the ‘Munjeong Biz Valley Specialized Recruitment Center’ on JobKorea for the second time starting September 14 to help small and medium-sized enterprises struggling with hiring due to COVID-19 and young job seekers.
Munjeong Biz Valley is a future-oriented business complex housing about 3,000 companies in new growth engine industries such as IT convergence, bio, and green industries. It is located in the area of 350 Munjeong-dong, Songpa-gu.
The district has been operating an online exclusive recruitment center on the private employment platform JobKorea since June last year, as companies in Munjeong Biz Valley faced great difficulties in hiring. Since its launch in June last year until the first half of this year, about 397 companies participated, posting over 1,774 job openings, and 251 job seekers succeeded in employment.
The second ‘Munjeong Biz Valley Specialized Recruitment Center,’ starting this September, will be intensively operated for two months until November 13. It will be posted as a banner at the top of JobKorea’s online main page, making it easier for job seekers to access and apply.
In particular, new ‘Job Interview’ content has been created where current employees of participating companies provide job descriptions and employment tips, enhancing the promotional effect for companies residing in Munjeong Biz Valley.
Additionally, ‘Talent Searching Coupons’ will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to companies that have hiring plans but face difficulties finding suitable talent, helping them directly find and hire excellent personnel.
Companies wishing to participate in the ‘Munjeong Biz Valley Specialized Recruitment Center’ can fill out an application form and visit the Munjeong Biz Valley Job Hub Center (167 Songpa-daero, Terra Tower 1, Basement Room 190) or apply via email or fax.
