Mayor Lee had contact with A during a meeting attended by Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Gyoheung and representatives of residents' organizations on the 20th of last month.
Mayor Lee tested negative in the first test before self-quarantine, but tested positive in the second test on this day and was transferred to a hospital.
