Hyundai Motor Sells 312,990 Units in August... 14.2% Decrease Year-on-Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] Hyundai Motor Company (Hyundai Motor) announced on the 1st that it sold a total of 312,990 units worldwide in August. This is a 14.2% decrease compared to the previous year.
In the domestic market, it sold 52,897 units, a 3.2% increase compared to the previous year, but in overseas markets, it sold 258,400 units, a 17.1% decrease.
Overseas, the decrease in production at overseas factories due to demand contraction caused by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) led to a decline in sales volume.
