According to Incheon City on the 1st, as of this day, 5 confirmed cases have been reported in Incheon related to a prayer meeting held on the 15th and 16th of last month in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon.
Among these confirmed cases, A (59, female), who was first confirmed positive on the 25th of last month, did not disclose the fact that the meeting took place during the initial epidemiological investigation. It was found that A concealed not only the meeting but also her marital status, claiming she lived alone. Her husband is a pastor at Sunbokum Daejeon Woori Church in Daedeok-gu, Daejeon, where a recent cluster infection occurred.
A showed symptoms of fever on the 20th of last month but was taking antipyretics at the time. Later, on the 25th, she visited a screening clinic in Gyeyang-gu and tested positive for COVID-19.
The fact that A attended the prayer meeting for two days was confirmed belatedly when health authorities checked her location information (GPS).
As a result of testing specimens from contacts including family members, three additional confirmed cases were identified: B (45, female) living in Michuhol-gu, her daughter C (15), and another believer D (74, female) living in Gyeyang-gu.
During an in-depth epidemiological investigation, a 64-year-old male resident of Gyeyang-gu who tested positive on the 30th of last month was also classified as a confirmed case related to this prayer meeting.

This man was initially classified as a contact of a confirmed case in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, but after confirming that he attended the Gyeyang-gu prayer meeting with A and others on the 16th of last month, his infection route was changed, bringing the total number of confirmed cases related to the prayer meeting in Incheon to five.
