Jungjingong Introduces 'Non-Face-to-Face Policy Fund Support' System Starting Today
From the 1st, On-site Consultation → No Visit
Field Survey → Remote Evaluation
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 1st that it will introduce a non-face-to-face policy fund support system early in response to the resurgence of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
This introduction of the non-face-to-face policy fund support system is being promoted in line with the digital-centered paradigm shift in the post-COVID era. The policy fund support process will be reorganized into a non-face-to-face method, and the corporation plans to actively utilize the corporate data it holds. From this day forward, in-person consultations will be replaced by non-visit consultations, and on-site field surveys will be converted to non-face-to-face evaluations.
Previously, when applying for policy funds, SMEs visited the on-site department of the Small and Medium Business Corporation for preliminary consultations, and funding decisions were made through on-site field surveys. In this process, at least two or more face-to-face interactions occurred.
By converting the policy fund support process to a non-face-to-face method, the corporation expects that safer and faster funding support will be possible, thereby improving the convenience of financing and financial accessibility for small and medium venture businesses.
The non-face-to-face policy fund support targets companies that have received innovation startup commercialization funds or new growth foundation funds from the corporation within the last two years and are applying for working capital within 200 million KRW with the same fund. Eligibility for non-face-to-face support applications can be self-diagnosed after booking a consultation through the policy fund online application menu on the corporation’s website. The final funding decision will be made after corporate evaluation.
