[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] The Gyeongbuk Provincial Office of Education announced on the 1st that it will conduct 'online labor-management education' using cyber content for general public officials for two weeks from the 14th to the 25th.
The online course, opened and operated by the Employment and Labor Training Institute, consists of a total of five sessions covering the functions of labor unions, current labor-management relations, development plans, recent labor trend changes, and understanding labor and workers in schools.
Gyeongbuk Province has been conducting labor-management education every year during summer and winter vacations to improve awareness of labor-management relations among public officials and to establish a sound labor-management culture. This year, only two out of three regions were conducted in January before being suspended due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
