Eunpyeong-gu, Post-Corona Policy Idea Contest
Collecting Ideas to Reflect in New Policy Projects for 2021
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) will hold a 'Post-Corona Policy Idea Contest' for three weeks from August 31 to September 18 for everyone interested in Eunpyeong-gu administration.
With the advent of the post-corona era, the untact era (a time when goods and services are provided without direct human contact) is accelerating, necessitating many policy changes.
This contest was planned to discover various policy ideas from residents to proactively respond to the post-corona era and establish policies for Eunpyeong-gu.
The contest categories are ▲ non-face-to-face public service policies in the untact era ▲ lifestyle policies to prevent the spread of local infections ▲ policies to promote consumption and create jobs in Eunpyeong-gu ▲ and other free-response policies to respond to the post-corona era.
Proposals can be submitted by registering on the Post-Corona Policy Idea Contest board in the Idea Plaza on the Eunpyeong-gu website. Proposal forms can be downloaded from the website, completed, and also submitted by mail to the person in charge.
Ideas submitted by September 18 will be reviewed by the Eunpyeong-gu Proposal Review Committee, and winners will be announced in October. The review process will consist of two rounds: preliminary and final evaluations.
For the final selection, one grand prize winner (1,000,000 KRW), two excellence award winners (500,000 KRW each), and three encouragement award winners (300,000 KRW each) will be chosen, with a total prize of 2,900,000 KRW and certificates awarded. Selected outstanding policy ideas will be reflected throughout Eunpyeong-gu’s policies.
