According to the insurance industry on the 30th, the Life Insurance and Non-life Insurance Associations requested all member companies to cooperate in preventing the spread of COVID-19. From this day until the 6th of next month, insurance agents are asked to refrain from face-to-face sales as much as possible during the 8-day period.
The Financial Services Commission held a meeting with the Life and Non-life Insurance Associations on the 29th and considered suspending insurance agents' sales activities during the strengthened distancing period, but it was reportedly concluded through voluntary cooperation from the industry.

In particular, face-to-face sales targeting the elderly, who are vulnerable to infection, are prohibited. Agents or agencies exhibiting fever or respiratory symptoms were immediately instructed to stop sales activities.
