[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Curly, the operator of Market Kurly, announced on the 30th that one employee at the Refrigerated Center 2 in Jangji-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, tested positive for COVID-19, leading to the closure of the center.
The employee entered self-quarantine and underwent testing after a family member tested positive for COVID-19 the previous day, and was confirmed positive on the morning of the 30th.
The employee had worked until the 28th, performing office tasks unrelated to product packaging, and was reported to have worn a mask at all times while working.
The company stated that COVID-19 tests are being conducted on all employees who may have had contact with the confirmed case, and they are awaiting the results. The Refrigerated Center 2 has been closed and disinfected.
