[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Despite the economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, domestic home appliances with excellent technology are gaining great popularity.
According to the industry on the 29th, Hurom has surpassed a cumulative sales volume of 10 million units in 80 countries worldwide from 2008, when it first launched the original juice extractor, to this year. The company explains that the juice extractor minimizes the destruction and oxidation of nutrients such as antioxidant enzymes and vitamins by suppressing friction heat generation and air inflow through slow juicing.
To commemorate this, a 'Ten Million Week' event will be held until the 31st. On the official shopping mall 'Hurom Shop' and Naver Brand Store, juice extractors, super steam pots, tea masters, and more will be sold at up to 47% discount and limited-time special prices on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers who purchase products through the event will also receive gifts.
Cheongho Nice's 'Hwi Cafe' coffee ice water purifier has surpassed cumulative sales of 100,000 units. Since its first release in July 2014, Hwi Cafe has introduced a total of four products as a series. Since 2015, about 20,000 units have been steadily sold each year, establishing it as Cheongho Nice's flagship product.
The company explains that this product is the world's first coffee ice water purifier capable of purification, cold water, hot water, ice, and coffee. When first launched in 2014, there were three types of Hwi Cafe coffee capsules, and now a total of nine types are sold. Cheongho Nice plans to continuously increase the variety of capsules to provide users with diverse coffee choices.
New products with new technologies are also being released one after another. Coway recently introduced the 'Prime Bidet,' which enhances convenience with a 'memory function' that allows users to set personalized usage environments. Detailed options such as preferred water pressure, temperature, and nozzle position can be saved up to two settings and used easily with the push of a button. Additionally, a 'children's function' optimized for children's body types provides ideal nozzle position, water pressure, and water temperature.
This product pays attention to hygiene from the filter to the nozzle and cover. It is equipped with a pre-micro filter that removes contaminants in water down to 10 micrometers (㎛). The nozzle is made of stainless steel resistant to contamination. An antibacterial seat that suppresses bacterial growth is applied to maintain cleanliness.
Happycall has launched the 'Exslim Quantum,' a high-speed blender with greatly improved grinding performance. It is equipped with a larger motor than previous models, enhancing power and stability. Among the 'Exslim' series, it has the highest specification of 32,000 RPM, rotating 533 times per second to quickly grind even hard ingredients. It also features the 'Shark Blade,' a dense 8-tooth blade structure.
This product adds a rapid mode that blends quickly and powerfully at maximum output for 50 seconds to the existing six automatic menu modes of Exslim: slush, soft fruit, hard fruit, chef mode, grinding, and cleaning. It also comes with a dedicated cover with a silicone noise reduction pad.
