CEO Park Jong-ok: "Following my father’s example, donating has become a daily habit"
Park Jong-ok, CEO of Seowon Compressor Co., Ltd., pledged a donation of 100 million won in the name of his late father, Park Young-jae, who was from Mochon Village, Hyeonggyeong-myeon, Muan-gun, becoming the 100th Honor Society member in Jeonnam and the first in Muan.

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 28th that Park Jong-ok, CEO of Seowon Compressor Co., Ltd., pledged a donation of 100 million KRW in the name of his late father, Park Young-jae, who was from Mochon Village, Hyeonggyeong-myeon, Muan County, becoming the 100th Honor Society member in Jeollanam-do and the first in Muan.
At the membership ceremony held that day, CEO Park Jong-ok, Governor Kim San, Chairman Yeo Jong-seok of the Central Community Chest of Korea, and Chairman Noh Dong-il of the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea attended, and a vehicle worth approximately 50 million KRW was also delivered to social welfare facilities of the Seowon Foundation (Chairman Park Jong-ok).
CEO Park Jong-ok said, “Following my father, who emphasized frugality and sharing during his lifetime, donating has become a daily routine for me,” and added, “Together with the Seowon Foundation, established for welfare projects, I will continue to practice much sharing in the future.”
Governor Kim San said, “I am grateful for the meaningful donation made for vulnerable groups during a difficult time for all citizens,” and added, “I hope that the birth of the first Honor Society member will lead to the establishment of a natural donation culture.”
