On the 27th, KLPGA announced, "After discussing the hosting with the title sponsor OK Savings Bank, we decided to cancel," adding, "It is expected to be held normally next year." It was scheduled to take place from the 18th of next month at New Seoul Golf Club in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, but due to the resurgence of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), it ultimately could not be held. The Hana Financial Group Championship (total prize money 1.5 billion won), originally scheduled for September 24, has been postponed to November 5. The Hana Financial Group Singapore Ladies Open (total prize money), which was set for the first week of November, has also been tentatively postponed to around February to March next year. KLPGA explained, "The Hana Financial Group Singapore Ladies Open schedule was adjusted due to international travel restrictions caused by COVID-19." The KLPGA Tour will resume on October 8 with the major Hite Jinro Championship (total prize money 1 billion won).
