A family including a 1-year-old infant and a 4-year-old child, who are third and fourth infections related to the Cheongam Fitness Center of Suncheon patient No. 15 confirmed positive on the 22nd, tested positive.
Patient No. 47, who is estimated to have been infected through patient No. 31 and is related to patient No. 31, is a woman in her 30s. Patients No. 48 and No. 49 are children of patient No. 47, a 1-year-old infant and a 4-year-old child.
Patient No. 52 is a man in his 20s and is also related to patient No. 31, presumed to have been infected through patient No. 31.
Patient No. 50 is a man in his 40s, patient No. 51 is a woman in her 30s, and patient No. 53 is a man in his 40s. All three are presumed to have been infected at Shindae Kim Seonsaeng Fitness, and patient No. 54 is a woman in her 30s whose infection route is currently under epidemiological investigation.
Meanwhile, Suncheon City stated, "We are making every effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and especially health center staff and epidemiological investigators are fighting on the front lines." However, "some uncooperative citizens have caused difficulties for epidemiological investigators by using abusive language or verbal abuse during investigations," the city revealed.
Additionally, "There have been cases of spreading false information and fake news, causing confusion among citizens." The city strongly expressed its intention to respond firmly, stating, "If epidemiological investigations are refused or obstructed without justifiable reasons, facts are deliberately concealed, or false information and fake news are spread, the city will have no choice but to take strict measures."
