The Korea Meteorological Administration announced that Bavi transformed into an extratropical cyclone over land about 180 km east of Shenyang, China.
With the typhoon completely gone, all strong wind and high seas warnings issued for South Korea have been lifted.
Meanwhile, as of 2 p.m. on the same day, heatwave warnings were issued for Iksan in Jeonbuk and Seongju, Gimcheon, and Uiseong in Gyeongbuk. In addition, heatwave advisories remain in effect across Seoul and various parts of the country.
