'Jaywalking Pedestrian Fatality' Im Seul-ong Sent to Prosecution with Indictment Opinion
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] Lim Seul-ong (33), a singer and actor formerly of the group 2AM, who caused a fatal accident by hitting a pedestrian jaywalking while driving on a rainy night, has been sent to the prosecution with a recommendation for indictment.
On the 27th, the Seoul Western Police Station announced that Lim was sent to the prosecution on charges of violating the Special Act on Traffic Accident Handling.

On the 1st of this month, around 11:50 PM, Lim was driving an SUV on a road in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, when he struck a man jaywalking at a crosswalk. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital but died. It was confirmed that Lim had not been drinking at the time of the accident. However, during the investigation, some negligence on Lim's part was also identified.
