[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Hanwha Precision Machinery announced on the 27th that it participated in the global electronic components and production equipment exhibition 'NEPCON ASIA 2020,' held from the 26th to the 28th of this month in Shenzhen, China.
NEPCON ASIA is the largest exhibition for the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) market in China. This exhibition features equipment from over 80 manufacturers worldwide and is expected to attract around 60,000 visitors.
At the exhibition, Hanwha Precision Machinery showcased a high-speed productivity line composed of chip mounters 'HM520' and 'HM510' equipped with smart SMT functions, mobile equipment, and a smart factory embodying Industry 4.0.
To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the local corporation stationed in China is managing the exhibition, providing thermal imaging cameras and hand sanitizers, and supplying masks to visiting customers.
In particular, for customers who find it difficult to visit the exhibition, the company produced videos of the exhibited equipment and attempted an untact (online face-to-face) promotion for the first time.
