In particular, the incubation space is designed to accommodate various companies, consisting of 10 double rooms, 7 four-person rooms, and 11 open seats.
The center is jointly operated by the district and Sookmyung Women's University Campustown Project Group. The operating committee decides the basic policies and the admission and graduation status of applicants, and the center has two dedicated staff members (for incubation support and facility management).
The recruitment targets are 17 companies in the growth stage and 11 prospective entrepreneurs. Eligible applicants are youth companies whose representatives are aged 20 to 39 as of the announcement date, residing in Yongsan-gu or continuing their business in the district, or startups established less than three years ago. However, those regulated as credit delinquents by financial institutions, or those who are temporarily closed, closed, or emit environmental pollution are excluded from the recruitment.
The rental period for startup spaces (double and four-person rooms) is one year, with a maximum usage period of up to three years including extensions. The deposit is 120,000 KRW per 3.3㎡ annually, and the rent ranges from 600,000 to 930,000 KRW per year depending on the office area (13~20㎡). Management fees such as unmanned security, cleaning, and public utility charges are to be paid proportionally based on actual usage area.
The open space 'coworking space' has 11 seats.
The target users are prospective youth entrepreneurs. The usage period is one year, with one extension allowed for a maximum of two years. Users pay a monthly fee of 30,000 KRW for office equipment usage and utility costs on an actual expense basis.
The recruitment announcement will be made this month, and applications will be accepted until September 9. Applicants should submit the admission approval application and business plan via email to the Sookmyung Women's University Campustown Project Group.
For detailed information, inquiries can be made to the Campustown Project Group.
The project group will conduct a first round of document screening, a second round of presentation evaluation, and a third round of operating committee review, announcing the selection results on September 29. The center's move-in period is from October 5 to 16.
After the center officially opens, startup education and expert consultations will be provided to tenant companies in the small meeting rooms, training rooms, and community spaces. Services include ▲ expert consulting on technology commercialization and patents ▲ operation of education programs on management, strategic marketing, and customer development ▲ customized services for small groups.
