Damyang County Youth Counseling and Welfare Center Conducts Parent-Child Integrated Program
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] The Jeonnam Damyang-gun Youth Counseling Welfare Center recently announced on the 25th that it conducted a parent-child integrated program called "Family Love (愛) Summer Night" to promote positive mutual communication between adolescents and their parents.
This event consisted of parent education on how to communicate with adolescent children and a drive-in theater movie screening for psychological and emotional healing from the fatigue caused by COVID-19, attended by about 100 local youths, parents, and leaders.
During the parent education, participants shared difficult cases of communication with their children and learned how to build proper family relationships through various coaching methods. Watching a movie at the drive-in theater provided a good opportunity to enjoy cultural activities as a family unit.
Both the education and movie screening were conducted in strict compliance with social distancing rules, including disinfection and mask-wearing.
