Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju 'Happy Policy Ideas' Contest
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Samho) announced on the 24th that it will hold the "Citizen and Public Official Gwangsan-gu Happiness Policy Idea Contest" to discover creative happiness ideas until the 18th of next month.
The contest theme covers areas such as safety, welfare, economy, environment, transportation, and participation that can enhance the happiness of Gwangsan-gu citizens. Anyone can freely participate regardless of region or age.
Submissions can be made through the official Gwangsan-gu SNS participation link, or by visiting, mailing, faxing, or emailing the proposal to the Gwangsan-gu Happiness Policy Office.
Gwangsan-gu will select a total of seven outstanding ideas through a proposal review committee and SNS resident preference survey, awarding a total prize of 3 million KRW.
The top idea will receive a prize of 1 million KRW. Additionally, 30 participants will be randomly selected to receive mobile coupons worth approximately 5,000 KRW.
Adopted ideas will be reflected in the Gwangsan-gu administration and the 2021 main budget.
