Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters Holds 'Integrity Education Concert'
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters held the '2020 Integrity Education Concert' on the 24th at the main conference room of the headquarters building in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon.
The concert was organized to foster a culture of integrity within the fire department that emphasizes communication and consideration through integrity education.
Under the theme "Viewing an Integrity Fire Organization Communicating from the Perspective of History and Generational Theory," Kim Sung-hee, head of the CEO Leadership Research Institute (former reporter at Segye Ilbo), spoke on "The War and Peace of Three Generations: Strong Generation, In-between Generation, and New Generation," explaining the characteristics of each generation and practical methods for achieving organizational harmony.
Additionally, writer Choi Tae-sung (EBS Korean History chief lecturer) gave a talk titled "In Front of History," sharing examples of overcoming national crises caused by corruption in history, fostering a time of communication.
Due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, only Lee Hyung-cheol, head of the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters, and key department heads attended in person, while the education was conducted online in an untact (non-face-to-face) format.
A representative of the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters stated, "We will prepare various integrity programs to enhance the substance of integrity education," emphasizing, "Gyeonggi Fire will take the lead in building a fair and clean society."
