United Future Party: "Supplementary Budget and Disaster Relief Funds Were Generous Before the General Election... Why Are They So Stingy Now?"
New Party Name Contest, Top Keyword is 'Gukmin'... Announcement Next Week
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 24th, the United Future Party urged the government and ruling party to promptly make decisions regarding the 4th supplementary budget and disaster relief funds.
Kim Eun-hye, spokesperson for the United Future Party, stated at a briefing at the National Assembly Communication Office, "Above all, self-employed individuals and small business owners are facing the risk of closure. Although the United Future Party requested the formulation of the 4th supplementary budget, I am curious why the government has not made a decision," adding, "They were so generous before the general election, so why are they so stingy after the election?"
The party also demanded the passage of the COVID-19 Crisis Escape Livelihood Support Package Act, which was proposed as the party's top priority bill. Spokesperson Kim said, "I hope this bill passes the National Assembly immediately so that the ruling and opposition parties can come together sooner," and added, "I hope the Democratic Party responds positively."
