GS Shop Introduces 'Eco-Friendly Tag'
SJ Wani's New Products Broadcasted on the 22nd Introduce 'Eco-Friendly Tags'
Initially Applied to 30 Items from 3 Fashion Brands, Expansion Planned
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] GS Shop has introduced 'eco-friendly tags' made from recycled paper for its fall and winter fashion apparel on TV home shopping this year.
Starting with the 'SJ Wani Tweed Blouse' sold through the broadcast on the 22nd, the 'eco-friendly tags' will be initially applied to a total of 30 items from three brands including 'Briel' and 'Lapiaf', with plans to expand further in the future.
Product tags commonly used for clothing items are usually made of coated paper, which cannot be recycled. However, the 'eco-friendly tags' used by GS Shop this time are made from recycled paper, making them recyclable.

Earlier in July, as part of eco-friendly activities, GS Shop attempted to reduce the tags on 'Wonderbra' products. Previously, about 30 functional material description tags were used per set in the 'Wonderbra' package products, but this was replaced with a single description card, drastically reducing the number of tags used.
