[Weather] Heatwave Continues on Sunday, the Day of Cheoseo
On the 23rd, the day of 'Cheoseo' marking the arrival of autumn, the heatwave will continue. The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that hot weather will persist on Sunday, with showers expected in most areas until the morning.
Expected rainfall by 9 a.m. is 30-80mm in the central region (excluding the east coast of Gangwon), Jeonbuk, inland Gyeongbuk, and Jeju Island; 10-60mm in Jeonnam and inland Gyeongnam; and 5-30mm along the east coast of Gangwon, northern east coast of Gyeongbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo. Morning low temperatures are expected to be between 21 and 25 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs between 27 and 34 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels will be 'bad' in Gwangju and range from 'good' to 'normal' elsewhere. Heatwave warnings will be issued in most regions nationwide except for parts of the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon, and Gyeongbuk, making it very hot.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1 meter in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters. Offshore wave heights are forecasted to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1 meter in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2 meters in the South Sea.
