Woori Financial Group Provides Financial IT Training for Startups
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Woori Financial Group announced on the 21st that it conducted financial IT education for Dino Lab resident startups at the integrated center in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
Until now, even companies with innovative ideas faced many difficulties in business collaboration with financial companies due to a lack of experience or understanding of the overall financial IT systems. This education for Dino Lab resident startups covered information on financial IT technologies currently being implemented in the financial sector. It was a differentiated education program unique to Woori Financial Group aimed at enhancing startups' understanding of financial systems and promoting technical cooperation.
The training was directly conducted by practical staff from Woori FIS, a subsidiary supporting Woori Financial Group's IT division. Lectures were based on real-world applications such as financial IT security, financial interbank networks, and banking big data platforms, which garnered high satisfaction from attendees.
In particular, lectures on bank system application (app) structures and development procedures, which are not disclosed externally, as well as financial company-specific IT infrastructure such as card company financial systems, received great response and interest from startup developers through various questions.
