United Future Party, COVID-19 Spread Leads to 'Temporary Postponement' of Lawmakers' Workshop
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] The United Future Party has decided to temporarily postpone the 'Regular National Assembly Preparation Party Lawmakers Workshop' scheduled for the 26th to 27th due to the resurgence of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Joo Ho-young, the floor leader of the United Future Party, stated on the 19th, "As COVID-19 continues to spread mainly in the metropolitan area, social distancing has been raised to level 2, and all gatherings, meetings, and events with more than 50 people indoors and more than 100 people outdoors in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon are basically prohibited," adding, "In response to the government's quarantine guidelines, we intend to temporarily postpone the party lawmakers workshop."
