JT Savings Bank's 'Parasol 100' Savings Account Surpasses 100 Billion KRW in Cumulative Supply
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Kim] JT Savings Bank announced on the 18th that it will hold a customer appreciation event to celebrate surpassing 100 billion KRW in cumulative supply of its mid-interest rate credit loan product, 'Parasol 100.'
Starting from the 19th, customers who use the Parasol 100 loan through the mobile application 'JT Savings Bank' will be eligible, and the first 500 customers will receive a Starbucks gifticon.
Launched in April, this product is a mid-interest rate credit loan designed for salaried workers and freelancers, as well as low- to middle-income wage earners, offering an annual interest rate as low as 5.8% and a repayment period extended up to 100 months. It is structured so that the principal can be repaid in 100 months with monthly payments of 1%.
As of the end of last month, just three months after its launch, the product achieved a cumulative supply amount of 120.1 billion KRW. Approximately 94% of actual users were low- to middle-credit borrowers with credit grades between 4 and 7, who are often in financial blind spots.
