"Freely Position Your Screen" LG Electronics Launches New '360' Monitor Model
Easy Position Adjustment with Multi-Joint Hinge Structure
Supports Pivot Function to Rotate 90 Degrees Upright
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] LG Electronics announced on the 17th that it has launched the '360' monitor series in the domestic market.
The 360 series features ▲a third-generation stand that is a significant evolution from the conventional monitor stands which were difficult to adjust precisely ▲freely adjustable positioning in six directions: up, down, left, right, forward, and backward ▲and the concept of nearly zero spatial stress.
LG Electronics planned this product considering users who work for long hours on monitors or prefer a comfortable and efficient working environment.
The 360 series applies a multi-joint hinge structure reminiscent of a robot arm, allowing free adjustment of the monitor screen's position. It helps users work in a more comfortable and correct posture compared to previous products and enables more efficient use of desk space.
The 360 series allows height adjustment by moving the screen up and down up to 13cm without moving the stand, and the screen can be shifted left and right up to 47cm. It can also be pulled forward or pushed backward up to 18cm, enabling users to set the screen position as they desire.
Additionally, it supports a 'swivel' function that rotates the screen horizontally up to ±280 degrees and a 'tilt' function that tilts the screen vertically up to ±25 degrees, making it convenient when multiple people view the screen together. It also supports a 'pivot' function to rotate the screen 90 degrees vertically.
The 360 series applies a C-type clamp to the stand support, fixing the stand to the edge of the desk and drastically reducing the space occupied compared to regular monitors. Using a T-type clamp, it can be easily installed on desks with cable holes. Cables connected to the product can be neatly organized inside the stand.
This series is equipped with an IPS panel that delivers clear image quality without color distortion from any viewing angle. It features a USB-C port capable of fast data transfer, allowing laptops to be charged without connecting a separate power source.
LG Electronics operates the 360 series models within its major premium monitor lineup. On the 17th, it launched ▲the gaming monitor LG UltraGear 360 (model 27GN880) ▲the 4K resolution LG UltraHD 360 (27UN880) ▲the LG UltraWide 360 (34WN780), which offers advantages for multitasking with a wide screen ▲and the LG PC Monitor 360 (27QN880). The shipment prices range from 599,000 to 849,000 KRW.
In September, the LG UltraHD 360 (32UN880) will also be additionally released.
