A Woman in Her 50s from Wonju Attending Sarang Jeil Church Service Tests Positive for COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] The 83rd confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has been reported in Gangwon.
The provincial health authorities announced on the 17th that a woman in her 50s, Ms. A, who attended a worship service at Sarang Jeil Church on the 9th, tested positive for COVID-19.
She is the 28th confirmed case in Wonju and the 83rd in Gangwon.
Ms. A underwent a COVID-19 test at the Wonju City Public Health Center on the 16th and received a positive result around 11:45 PM.
Ms. A has been transferred to Wonju Medical Center for treatment.
