Yoon Tae Lee, Former President of Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Received 4.81 Billion KRW in Compensation for the First Half of the Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Former Samsung Electro-Mechanics President Lee Yoon-tae received a total compensation of 4.814 billion KRW in the first half of this year.
According to Samsung Electro-Mechanics' semi-annual report on the 14th, former President Lee received 325 million KRW in salary, 72 million KRW in bonuses, 8 million KRW in welfare benefits, and 4.409 billion KRW in retirement pay, totaling 4.814 billion KRW in the first half of this year.
A Samsung Electro-Mechanics official explained, "In accordance with the executive treatment regulations, the compensation for former President Lee was determined considering his rank, the nature of delegated tasks, and the results of performing those tasks," adding, "In January, a salary of 72.2 million KRW was set and paid, and from February to June, a monthly salary of 50.5 million KRW was allocated and paid."
