[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] Lotte Group announced on the 13th that Hwang Young-geun, Head of Sales Division at Lotte Hi-Mart, has been appointed as Executive Director and CEO of Lotte Hi-Mart.
Born in 1967, the new CEO Hwang Young-geun worked at Lotte Department Store from 1992 to 2014, serving as Head of Local Household Purchasing Team, Public Relations Officer, Head of Living Fashion Division, and Manager of Ilsan Branch. Since 2015, he has been with Lotte Hi-Mart, holding positions such as Product Strategy, Head of Home Appliances Division, and Head of Product Headquarters. From this year, he has been serving as Head of Sales Division at Lotte Hi-Mart.
