In July, Hana Bank signed a partnership with T1 to support the growth of e-sports, promote Hana Bank's youthful and future-oriented image to the MZ generation (Millennials and Generation Z), and provide various financial services. As a result, a dedicated asset management team was launched for 66 players belonging to T1, and full-scale private banking (PB) services have begun.
The Hana Bank asset management team is based at the Gangnam Club1 PB Center and the Gangbuk Sales Division 1 PB Center, and is composed of professional private bankers, tax accountants, lawyers, and real estate experts.
The team plans to provide specialized asset management services tailored to the characteristics of athletes, who often experience a mismatch between income generation periods and consumption periods. In particular, for players interested in real estate and tax savings, customized services are offered, including joint site visits to key investment areas and providing all services from property inspection to contract signing.
The launch ceremony held at Hana Bank Club1 PB Center was attended by players from the globally popular "League of Legends" team, including player Lee Sang-hyeok (Faker), head coach Kim Jung-soo, who won the Best Coach Award in the 2020 Spring Season, coaching staff, and T1 Korea representatives.
