73 Quality Management Excellence Companies' Products Designated as 'Quality Assurance Procurement Items' and Benefits Provided
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Public Procurement Service announced on the 12th that it has designated 73 items from 29 small and medium-sized enterprises as the '1st Quality Assurance Procurement Products' of this year.
The newly designated product list includes desktop computers, bookshelves, metal windows, and light-emitting diode (LED) security lighting fixtures.
Quality Assurance Procurement Products is a system that evaluates the quality management capabilities of procurement companies and provides benefits such as exemption from delivery inspections for a certain period to excellent companies.
For example, designated companies can be exempted from delivery inspections for up to 5 years and receive benefits such as technical and quality bonus points (up to 2 points) during the excellent procurement product evaluation, and a credibility bonus of 0.75 points in the Public Procurement Service's product purchase qualification review.
So far, 374 products from 120 companies have been designated under this system.

The Public Procurement Service will actively support excellent small and medium-sized enterprises that focus on quality management to grow in the procurement market using this system as a stepping stone.”
