Gwangyang City Announces Recruitment for Support Projects to Promote Intellectual Property Rights and Commercialization
Support for a total of 35 cases including 10 patents, 11 trademarks, 9 designs, and 3 commercialization supports within the region
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Gwangyang City announced on the 11th that it is recruiting applicants for the ‘Customized Intellectual Property Comprehensive Support Project’ until the 21st to support local small business owners, small and medium venture companies, and individuals in intellectual property rights acquisition and commercialization.
The ‘Customized Intellectual Property Comprehensive Support Project’ is being promoted based on the 「Gwangyang City Intellectual Property Promotion Ordinance」 to foster a pro-intellectual property atmosphere in the region and revitalize the local economy.
According to applications, the city will support a total of 35 cases: 10 domestic patents (1.3 million KRW each), 11 trademarks (250,000 KRW each), 9 designs (350,000 KRW each), 2 overseas patents (3 million KRW each), 1 patent technology promotional video production support (5 million KRW), 1 brand development support (5 million KRW), and 1 design development support (5 million KRW).
