View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Kyobo Life Insurance announced on the 10th that it has launched 'Kare,' an integrated customer service application that provides insurtech services ranging from healthcare to simple insurance claim filing.
The app offers health promotion and health prediction services, health coverage and insurance claim functions, as well as entertainment such as games.
It provides personalized services such as suggesting target step counts based on physical information including gender, age, height, and weight. When the target is achieved, a congratulatory stamp is issued, which can be converted into points and used for various events.
Additionally, the health prediction service, jointly developed and introduced by Kyobo Life Insurance and Bundang Seoul National University Hospital, predicts the risk of more than 10 diseases including health status, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, cancer, and dementia through algorithms, and suggests customized health management plans. Customers can also check health checkup data from the past 10 years conducted by Kyobo Life Insurance Healthcare Clinic and the National Health Insurance Service.
As for health coverage functions, users can view data from the Korea Credit Information Services, allowing them to check insurance coverage not only from Kyobo Life Insurance but also from other insurance companies at once. Insurance claims can be easily filed without printing documents through medical record inquiries at partner hospitals. Currently, this service is available at over 40 hospitals.
