Busan Port Authority Holds 'BPA Innovation Workshop'...Significant Expansion of Cooperation Scope
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Busan Port Authority (BPA) announced on the 10th that it held the 'BPA Innovation Workshop' on the 7th, with participation from internal and external stakeholders.
The BPA Innovation Workshop was organized for the BPA Innovation Task Force and innovation officers from four port authorities nationwide (Busan, Incheon, Ulsan, Yeosu Gwangyang) to gather and discuss innovation achievements that the public can experience firsthand, as well as institution-specific innovation plans to achieve these goals.
The workshop consisted of the 'BPA Innovation Task Enhancement Meeting,' attended by members of the BPA Innovation Task Force, and the 'Innovation Network Meeting among Port Authorities,' attended by innovation officers from the four port authorities nationwide.
In the first part, the BPA Innovation Task Enhancement Meeting discussed the establishment of performance indicators and future directions for key innovation tasks such as the advancement of the port blockchain platform that BPA will promote to create social value outcomes that the public can feel through innovation activities of public institutions and to successfully implement the Korean New Deal policy.
In the second part, the Innovation Network Meeting among Port Authorities saw innovation officers from the four port authorities actively discuss institution-specific innovation plans and ways to expand collaboration by mutually verifying the feasibility of each institution’s innovation promotion plans and proposing complementary measures.
