The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted, "On the 9th, very heavy rain accompanied by strong gusts and thunder will fall mainly in the central region."
In the southern region, the rain will begin to stop from 6 a.m. that day. Most of the rain will cease by 3 p.m., but it is expected to start again in the early morning of the 10th.
Expected rainfall amounts are △Central region and the five western islands 100?300 mm (over 500 mm in some areas) △Southern region 50?100 mm (over 150 mm in northern Jeonbuk, northern Gyeongbuk, and southern coastal areas of Gyeongnam) △Jeju mountainous area, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo 20?60 mm.
The morning low temperature is predicted to be 21?26°C, and the daytime high temperature 25?33°C.

Daytime high temperatures are forecasted as △Seoul 26°C △Chuncheon 26°C △Gangneung 28°C △Daejeon 29°C △Daegu 31°C △Busan 25°C △Jeonju 25°C △Gwangju 25°C △Jeju 33°C.
