Calligraphy Contest to Support the Bid for the '2030 Busan World Expo'
August 6 to September 3 ... Nationwide Participation Open for Designated or Original Phrases

The Busan Metropolitan City and the 2030 Busan World Expo Citizen Hosting Committee announced on the 6th that they will hold the "2030 Busan World Expo Hosting Support Calligraphy Contest" for the entire nation to support Busan's bid to host the World Expo.
The contest will run for 29 days from the 6th to September 3rd, and participation is open to all citizens.
The designated phrases for the contest are ▲ Ne-kkum Nae-kkum, Busan World Expo Hosting! ▲ Korea World Expo Hosting, Waiting is Happiness. ▲ If I go to Busan, will I be able to see you? 2030 WORLD EXPO ▲ Supporting the 2030 Busan World Expo Hosting. ▲ You are the host city of the 2030 World Expo, Busan! There are five phrases in total. Participants can choose one of the designated phrases or submit a newly created phrase of their own.
Applications can be submitted by sending the application form and artwork via registered mail through the Busan Metropolitan City or the 2030 Busan World Expo Citizen Hosting Committee websites.
A total of 20 works will be selected through judging at the end of September, including 1 grand prize, 2 excellence awards, 3 encouragement awards, and 14 honorable mentions. The grand prize winner will receive a prize of 2 million KRW. The winning works will be exhibited at the international conference scheduled for October this year and various Expo promotional events.
