Doosan Logistics Solution Secures 16 Billion KRW Order for Automated Equipment at Thailand Logistics Center
Doosan Logistics Solutions and Thailand's state-owned petrochemical company PTT GC (Global Chemical) signed a contract to supply automated logistics center equipment on the 3rd in Rayong, Thailand.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Doosan Logistics Solution, a subsidiary of Doosan Co., Ltd. and a logistics automation solution company, announced on the 4th that it has signed a contract to supply logistics center automation equipment worth 16 billion KRW with Thailand's state-owned petrochemical company PTT GC (Global Chemical). This is the largest order since Doosan Logistics Solution was established in May last year and its first overseas project.
The logistics center automation equipment construction project, taking place in the Rayong region located 180 km south of Bangkok, has a total project cost of 43 billion KRW. Doosan Logistics Solution secured the order for automation equipment and software integration among this.
Doosan Logistics Solution plans to supply, including the design of the logistics center, ▲ a pallet shuttle system that automatically loads or unloads products into compartments arranged in multiple tiers ▲ an RGV (Rail Guided Vehicle) system that automatically transports products ▲ a WCS (Warehouse Control System) that integrates and controls automation equipment within the logistics center. Notably, the pallet shuttle to be supplied this time reaches a world record height of 45 meters.
