Daewoo E&C Unveils New Commercial Facility Brand 'Acloud'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] Daewoo E&C has introduced a new commercial facility brand, ‘Arcloud’.
Arcloud is a combination of ‘arc,’ meaning a curve, and ‘cloud’.
It signifies ‘a cloud that connects leisure’ and ‘a cloud that connects value,’ embodying the values of connection and harmony. This represents an open space that aims to connect people with people and serve as a medium for various contents and emotions.
Daewoo E&C will first launch Arcloud in the Gamil District. Arcloud Gamil is planned to be offered for sale in September, with a total area of 38,564㎡ spanning from basement level 1 to the 2nd floor on the central commercial land of the Gamil District.
More than 30% of the total site area will be composed of open spaces, and the world-renowned spatial planning specialist, the Netherlands-based KAAV, will design a large experiential playground for children and parents, as well as an event plaza and landscaping for nearby residents, realizing an evolved commercial facility.

A Daewoo E&C official said, “Arcloud aims to be a complex cultural space that offers special enjoyment and leisure, not just a simple shopping mall,” adding, “By redefining commercial facilities not merely as places to buy and sell goods but as spaces where individuals can actively realize their own lifestyles, we seek to implement the future vision of new commercial facilities.”
