[Golf Topic] KLPGA Tour "Cancellation of 3 Tournaments Including Hanwha Classic"
[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] ○…The Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour has canceled three tournaments.
On the 29th, the KLPGA Tour announced, "The High1 Resort Ladies Open, Hanwha Classic, and All For You-Renoma Championship scheduled for August and September have been canceled," adding, "They are planned to be postponed and held next year." They stated, "We repeatedly discussed the tournament hosting with title sponsors High1 Resort, Hanwha Solutions, and Hansung FI," and added, "The cancellation decision was made due to the sponsors' circumstances." It seems the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has ultimately caused the setback.
