SK Incheon Petrochem, Food Kit Delivery for Vulnerable Groups
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] SK Incheon Petrochemicals has practiced sharing warmth for the vulnerable groups in the Incheon area who are facing increased difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
On the 29th, SK Incheon Petrochemicals employees announced that they personally prepared and delivered 200 'Cham! Good Love Meal Truck Seoroeum Grocery Kits' (hereafter referred to as grocery kits) at the Incheon Seo-gu Volunteer Center.
The Incheon Seo-gu Volunteer Center has been conducting free meal services annually for the elderly living alone and people with disabilities in Incheon through the 'Cham! Good Love Meal Truck.' However, this year, due to the COVID-19 situation making face-to-face volunteer activities difficult, they decided to produce and deliver grocery kits in collaboration with SK Incheon Petrochemicals and others.
The grocery kits, sponsored by SK Incheon Petrochemicals, consisted of nine items including samgyetang, a summer health food, rice, yukgaejang, ramen, canned goods, and more. SK Incheon Petrochemicals employees and officials from the Incheon Seo-gu Volunteer Center worked together to prepare the kits. The grocery kits made on this day are scheduled to be delivered to marginalized groups throughout Seo-gu, Incheon Metropolitan City by the end of July.
