View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Kim Gimuon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, participated in the Stay Strong relay campaign on the 28th, which supports overcoming and early ending of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The Stay Strong campaign was launched in March under the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It conveys the message of overcoming COVID-19 through thorough personal hygiene management by using signs depicting praying hands as handwashing images, and proceeds by posting photos holding the signs on SNS while nominating the next participant.
Kim Gimuon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, who was nominated as the next participant by Lee Seunggeon, CEO of the fintech unicorn company Toss, said, “I thank all the people of the Republic of Korea who have shown the power of solidarity and cooperation based on high civic awareness,” and added, “I want to send messages of support and encouragement to small and medium enterprises and small business owners who are especially struggling due to COVID-19.”
