71st Confirmed Case Residing in Mok 3-dong (Contact with Songpa 76th Confirmed Case) Occurs
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) has reported its 71st confirmed case of COVID-19.
The 71st confirmed case in Yangcheon, Mr. A, had contact with the 76th confirmed case in Songpa. On the 21st, he developed symptoms such as fever, cough, and muscle pain. On the 24th, he requested a specimen test at the Gangseo Public Health Center screening clinic, and on the morning of the 25th, he was finally confirmed positive.
Subsequently, around 1 p.m. on the 25th, he was immediately transferred to Boramae Hospital, a nationally designated hospital. The district completed disinfection in areas including Mok 3-dong, where he resides.
Since Mr. A's residence was unclear, he was initially classified as Seoul City Other No. 1560 on the 25th, but on the morning of the 27th, based on the date of the COVID-19 test, he was finally classified as a confirmed case in Yangcheon-gu, his last known residence.
With this, the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Yangcheon-gu has reached 71.
