Yeonggwang-gun Holds 'Agricultural and Marine Products Promotion Event' in LA, USA
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) recently held a promotional event for agricultural and marine products at the Jeollanam-do permanent sales booth in a large supermarket in Los Angeles, USA, the county announced on the 27th.
This promotional event was planned to promote the excellence of agricultural and marine products in overseas markets and to serve as a foundation for expanding exports, thereby revitalizing local export companies that have been stagnant due to COVID-19.
The event period runs for a total of 12 days from the 23rd of last month to the 3rd of next month.
The county is selling 10 items (worth about $100,000), including Yeonggwang Gulbi, Mositip Songpyeon, Taeyangcho chili peppers, chili powder, and young barley powder, at Hannam Chain Fullerton and S-mart locations, large supermarkets in LA, targeting local consumers including Korean residents in the US.
During the promotional event period, the county plans to actively promote the event through local media such as radio and newspaper advertisements, and attract consumers' attention with tasting events and early bird promotions to showcase the county's excellent flavors.
